2014 International Print Competition | Professional Photographers of America

Last week was a very exciting week for me. I entered Professional Photographers of America‘s 2014 International Print Competition. This year we got to watch the judging via a live stream so it was extra exciting, suspenseful and nerve-wracking! I’m thrilled to say that all 4 of my images were received into their Loan Collection.  This means they will be published in PPA’s Loan Collection book and also will be on exhibit at Imaging USA in Nashville, TN in February. Since all 4 images went Loan, I will also receive the prestigious “Diamond Photographer of the Year” award at the Grand Imaging Awards ceremony in Nashville. This is my second year entering IPC and have learned a great deal. I’m looking forward to Southwest Districts in January 2015!

I have many people to thank (and have thanked them personally), but achievements like this always come with the help of mentors and friends… without them I would never have done so well so soon. I’m very blessed to have such wonderful people in my life!
