Duchess | Flower Mound Humane Society

Miss Duchess is available for adoption. She has been with the Humane Society of Flower Mound for over 4 1/2 months now. She is just over 1 year old and has already had a really rough start in life. Duchess was one of many dogs that were taken from a puppy mill raid early this summer. Even at such a young age, she was neglected,  isolated in a crate, unsocialized and probably never had the chance to run around and play. Her foster mommy is taking wonderful care of her now and Duchess has made amazing progress. Once she learns to trust you, she becomes very attached and is what you call a “velcro dog”.  She loves to snuggle into her foster mommy and doesn’t leave her side. She will need a very patient new family, but I know it will be so worth it once she opens up and learns to know all the joys of life that she so much deserves!
