I’m so excited to share that the Humane Society of Flower Mound‘s “Love On Wheels” program has just rescued it’s 100th dog! Please meet Penny! Penny will be available for adoption soon in DeWitt, NY with Helping Hounds Dog Rescue.
HSFM started this program just a few months ago and has saved so many dogs facing euthanasia here in N. Texas in just a short amount of time. If you want to help, it’s so easy (and fun!). There are lots of ways to help. You can become a short term foster (2-3 weeks) until they are transported to NY to a fantastic rescue that actually has a shortage of dogs. It costs HSFM approximately $150 to send a dog 1500 miles to DeWitt, NY and give him or her a chance at a new life through Love on Wheels. You can also donate. When you sign up to be a Love on Wheels supporter, they’ll email you a picture and biography of a Love on Wheels dog YOU helped save.
