I recently came back from co-teaching a pet photography workshop in Lake Tahoe, NV. One of the models was a dog that I fostered as a little puppy 2 1/2 years ago. This is Paisley and she is also the sister to my dog, Portia. I haven’t seen her since she was adopted over 2 years ago so this was quite a thrill for me! She has grown up to be one of the most beautiful dogs I’ve ever seen!

Sorry for such a large image share, but it was hard to pick just a few. She was a fantastic dog to photograph (mostly because of her beauty!!) but also because she’s been so well trained in sit/stay!

WHY Paw Print DIVAS…………..

Kim Hartz and Barbara Breitsameter will inspire and guide you through the exploration in the craft of artistic dog photography. For the serious amateur photographer to the seasoned professional photographer wanting to expand their business, this unique workshop will help you identify your personal style and expand your creative vision and artistic approach to dog photography.

The workshop will be held at Kim Hartz Photography home studio in Houston TX, and in an effort to keep it intimate and hands on, participants will be limited to 10 photographers.

On Monday and Tuesday I attended the Mia Bella Workshop with Leah Profancik in Southlake, TX.

What a fun filled and incredibly amazing time! I learned so much about shooting in full sun! Leah is fabulous teacher and such a down to earth and sweet person! I met so many fabulous photographers. Some I “knew” from forums and others I met for the first time. We had a great group!!

I’m so inspired to do more full sun work. So call me to set up an appointment! 🙂

Here are some of my favorites from the workshop. This first one is one of the photographers daughter… she is soo cute and has the most amazing eyes!!!
