Sorry I’ve been MIA lately. WOW, it’s been a busy month for me!  I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to post for the project 52 this week but I really pushed myself to get out there and doing something. This is Portia and her rubber chicken… not sure if that even comes close to being a Thanksgiving theme, but it’s about as close as I can get 🙂

Now, please check out the fabulous Photo Lab Pet Photography to see what they did for their Thanksgiving theme!

In memory of Steve Jobs and his contribution to easy-to-use phone photography, our challenge at Beautiful Beasties this week is to take our iPhones and capture our pet with the phone’s camera.

This is me and my precious Olive taken with my iPhone 3GS using Instagram.

And just for laughs…. here is her cute little pug butt! (also taken using Instagram)

Now head on over to Chase and Snap and see who Stephanie took a picture of with her iPhone.

This week’s project is to photograph our pets first thing in the morning. Our routine starts pretty early… when it’s too dark to photograph. This is Felix after breakfast, after playtime, and after the kids are off to school. This is what he does with the remainder of his morning… guards the house. He likes to people watch… then he runs out to greet them at the fence.

Now go check out Dog Biscuit Photos to see what Judy’s pets do first thing in the morning!

I’m participating in a Project 52 for Beautiful Beasties. This week’s assignment is called “Second Chance”. Second chance means that you can go back to the previous 26 weeks arnd redo one of of the assignments or do one that you missed. Since this is my first week doing this project with this group, I’m going back to Week 23: 50mm. This shot was take with my 50mm 1.4 lens.

This boy, Rambo is being also given a “second chance” at life.  He is a Mastiff and in rescue right now with Great Plains Mastiff Rescue and looking for a foster home. He is currently being boarded until he can find a foster home or a forever home. Forgive all the drool! LOL … we wore him out and went to take pictures of some more mastiffs on the other side of the fence… he wanted us to come back to him 🙁 He’s a sweet boy with a lot of love to give!

Now check out Bark This Way to see what her Second Change was!
