Congratulations to all the winners! I enjoyed meeting you and photographing your adorable pets!

Did you miss out on entering? The Humane Society of Flower Mound is currently running a Calendar Contest… head on over and enter for a chance to win a photo session with me and the cover of the calendar!

I had so much fun at this session. I just love photographing horses and the people who love them. This is Courtney and her amazing horse, Zeus. Just one year ago Zeus had colic. Equine colic is the number one cause of death in horses. Zeus had lost over 800 pounds and given just a 10% chance of survival.  BUT… he survived and is just as happy and beautiful as ever. And you can tell he clearly loves Courtney!

A couple weeks ago I photographed 2 sweet Boxers, Bowen & Olivene. This is their BIG brother, Elliot.

Meet Elliot. Elliot is a gorgeous 9 year old,  thoroughbred Gelding. 3 years ago he was a crazy 6 year old and not yet broken. It took 2 cowboys to break him. He was totally terrified of people.  Allison has had him for 3 years now and and he’s a gem! He is also now doing 3′ Adult Amatuer Hunters!  I just love stories like this!  All it takes is a little time and patience and almost any animal can blossom!

What a truly amazing creature!
